Business Card

I edited my business card. All pretty much one colour keep it simple and cheap. I've designed it so it folds out and there is space for the person i give it to to make notes or do whatever with it. The idea is that it can have two uses as some people simply wont use it to contact me
Going to look into finding a nice printers for these

I've started placing the wave on my work. Keep it small but simply a tag for myself.

I started producing a promo booklet aswell, containing contact details and a cv. Its going to be all nicely packaged when i've got everything completed.
I'm having fun working with inDesign

Sarah Walsh

created this identity/promo material
Simple and interesting. Different designs connecting to form a whole identity.

Having multiple designed out business cards might entice people more and they will look at each individual design as something different, yet the information which is the same on each card will sink in. Thats my theory anyway.

Massive

This thing has a one off cost plus the cost of filling it up with petrol but i guess its free advertising
Business cards printed on both sides. I can't decide whether to have a single sided business card or a double.

Really clear interesting fluid logo. Straightforward colours easy on the eyes. works well as a set and on their own.

YoungJerks (Dan Cassaro)

Experiementing with layout, layers and colours. Works really well and its still legible. SICK!!! This was the piece that caught my eye. Its a promo poster screen printed onto newsprint. double sided. Something i want to do with the zines i produce not only for the t-shirts but as a promo pack to send out to potential employers. I'm going to get on it once i've started my other briefs. Dan Cassaro is a Long Island native and Graduate of The School of Visual Arts. He lives, works and trips the light fantastic in Brooklyn, NY. He is available for freelance work or to talk about early Wings albums.

Threadless

I wanna produce lots of screen printed material. Tee shirts, posters, flyers, business cards etc

1) I produced a quick turn around for the Threadless loves Geeks t-shirt competition.

Geek Wars - Threadless T-shirts, Nude No More

All Geeks Love Han Solo.
I could produce a series of tees around the concept of geek heroes.
Stay Tuned. Quick 1 day turnaround. Infact it was more like 15mins. Very quick turnaround to get me producing design sheets and exploring different options after a prolonged absense.

Tomorrow i plan on completing another short 1 day brief. Weather permitting.

Edit: I got declined due to the t-shirt apparently been unable to be printed due it going too close to the seems. Sucks. Gunna make some changes then

Edit: Edit: I reworked the tee to a different spec which should fit into threadless design guidlines.
Still got denied. Going to have to come up with something else.
Its all a learning curve but i'm going to prove Threadless wrong. Ha. Just need my loan to come in.
